The UK Government has announced the launch of a major new funding initiative to accelerate the transition to electric fleets. The Depot Charging Scheme, which officially opened on 16 July 2025, will provide grants to support the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure at fleet depots across the country.
